Lone Candle Page 5 by Zucca-Xerfantes Lone Candle Page 5 by Zucca-Xerfantes
Lone Candle, page five is out at last!

In this page, we see that the mention of the name Aries Passadar has dredged up some of Liz's memories of the girl she knew so well when she was younger.

Kassandra also lays out why they're there, to discuss their final project which may even become a televised docu-drama considering the connections Jonilar, the dark-skinned student, has.

Written by me, art by the incredibly talented Egardn [link]

*blinks* Jumping blue wolf chick is surprised... I wonder what she's so surprised about. "Wooo! That's not a pile of matresses I'm jumping into, it's a pile of glass!"

She's surprised by the fact that there's a magic-powered generator behind her that's seconds from exploding and removing all matter and energy in the radius of eruption from existence.

So... a pretty good reason to be surprised and leaping for your life ^_^;

What'cha think of the other pages? ^_^

I'll respond thinking of it from the perspective of my own attempts: It can work if you consider each page a work of art and stand-alone segment of a story to get the viewer to turn the page. Both dialog and artwork must work in unison to grip the viewer and not only get them intrigued but keep them there.

The tell all book, 'They Were Just Sharpie Marks: The tale of Aries Stripes' wasn't as good as their report I bet.

Heh heh heh...

The five students: Here's our project, professor. We found a surprisingly great source of information and even went to other countries to dig up more sources. We've covered her life from start to finish and even talked to others whose lives she affected. We even found out that her famous marks were the result of her breaking into Hell and the demons' claws leaving permanent red stains where they touched.

Teacher: Outstanding work! This one is sure to get the television sponsorship. A+

Fuckup McDumbass: Here's my project, teach! God Aries Passadar was a HAWTIE! I bet those wicked tattoos of hers were really just sharpies! And she went to lotsa parties and went on lotsa adventures and *Stoner giggle* got inflated a whole bunch like those party ballooooons....

Teacher: McDumbass, you didn't really study for this, did you?

Fuckup McDumbass: Nah, I just got high.

El gasp!
Are you telling me that the old lady with one eye and one leg who has weird dreams and works in a place where she's very likely to run into strange characters has actually had an interesting life?
Unfathomable.
