Blocking offense?

I was having a lively and spirited debate with a Communist who, in spite of his maturity deficit reaction, enjoys the courtesy of his identity being protected to the fullest extent I can issue here.

Approaching the end, he became increasingly belligerent and agitated. I would present a point and he would toss it aside and come at a different angle. It was like a Tai Chi Chuan match done with dialogue.

I wanted to see what his response to the hard, real life lesson that if you behave disrespectfully right off the bat, then demanding respect is as hypocritical as it is selfish.

So he blocked me after I responded and that was that.

As a general policy, I never block someone unless they start to get *personal*, and even then, for no more than a week or so. Three strikes and they stay blocked, but only two have ever earned that honor.

That's right folks... This scared, meek, petty little Communist could no longer defend his screwed up, murderous ideology from a persistent debater and so he blocked me.

I don't even block and he's a complete jackass and a joke of a debater! But to his credit, he never made things personal.

And my opponent, if you're reading this, Ill fight you in the battlefield of ideas anytime you like. You've inspired me to make it my goal on DA to get blocked by every Communist however! And know that you haven't discouraged me from approaching your ilk, Communist and Socialist alike, and getting in your face about things. Because, as nature itself suggests, competition fosters strength. It's not social Darwinism though. It's ideological Darwinism.

Capitalism turned a new nation of farmers and immigrants into a superpower in a relative eyeblink. Communism snuffed out millions of lives over its short, bloody history.

I shouldn't declare victory, because there was never any contest.
